The Williamsburg PTA is a proud sponsor of the WMS Wolfbots Robotics Team. The Wolfbots 8th grade team which calls themselves Team Sigma, finished 2nd place at the Virginia VEX STATES Championship, this accomplishment made them eligible to compete in the “VEX WORLDS Robotics Championship in Dallas Texas. The team is soliciting your support, as they fundraise for travel, lodging, and meal expenses. The team needs to raise $6000 to allow Mr. Dudek and the team to compete in Dallas. Coach Dude (as his team calls him) reports that there will be over 600 teams coming from all over the world.
Good luck to the Wolfbots and help pitch in by designating “Wolfbots” in the PTA fundraiser portal from now until April 22nd. Your assistance will help support this incredible opportunity to represent Arlington Public Schools and our community at the World Championships!
