Fellow WMS 8th grade parent, Magin Urdanick has been inspired by what Matt Mendelsohn is doing for the Yorktown Seniors (click here to learn more about the YHS project) and she would like to do the same thing for our 8th graders. How wonderful for our 8th grade students! How it would work: Have your 8th grader pick some props that would show what their interests are and/or something that represents them (basketball, softball, art, photography, etc.). She’ll come to your house, in mask and standing 6/8 feet away. She’ll use her long lens to get their portrait. These will be quick 10 or 15 minute sessions. Then she will give you the digital file at no charge. It might be cool to have the kids wear something that says WMS on it for continuity but obviously not required! To book a session click on the Google form here, or the booking site. Click on BOOK ONLINE tab, upper right corner, then, click on BOOK NOW. Any questions? Contact Magin Urdanick. |
