A Message From Ms. Skelton

Dear WMS PTA,
Thank you for the wonderful “Snack Attack”.  I have never seen such a display of sweet and savory treats!  I tried to eat one of each, but quickly realized it would be impossible.  Still, that didn’t stop me from trying that day and the next!
Teachers and staff are planning for next year. All teachers are engaged in determining the schedule for “Wolf Time”, also known as ATSS (Arlington Tiered System of Support). Grade 6 Core teachers are looking at a variety of schedules to determine what will work best for student learning.  For the 2017-18 school year, electives will not be blocked.  Other middle schools in Arlington will be continuing or implementing modified block schedules for next year.  Our plan is to study our experiences and the experiences of the other middle schools.  We will apply the “lessons learned” as we consider school wide implementation.
