DESCRIPTION:Pizza/Pastries\, Acclimation\, Lockers\, and Schedules are just a few of the things we\nwill go over on PALS Day. Sixth grade teachers\, administration\, counselors and\nsome awesome 8th grade volunteers are eager to make introductions and help ease\nthe transition to middle school. Students and parents will meet in the auditorium to\nstart. Each team will go over a typical 6th grade day and answer questions. Students\nwill then leave with their TA teachers for an introduction to their classroom and to\npractice their locker combination. Teachers and 8th grade volunteers will be there to\nhelp with locker combinations\, find classrooms on student schedules and answer\nWMS questions. This page\, WMS Library Book Curbside Pickup\, provides necessary information about how to put books on hold and more. \nA Few Reminders:\nStudents can have 5 books checked out at a time.\nBooks that are returned are checked in and then quarantined for 7 days before being circulated again.\nStudents should wait for a message in Canvas from Ms. Scott indicating books are ready for pick-up. A book may show “ready” in a student library account but be in quarantine.\nStudents can make use of the Book Recommendation form for recommendations of print and e-books from Mrs. Tan.
