SUMMARY:PALS Day
DESCRIPTION:Pizza/Pastries\, Acclimation\, Lockers\, and Schedules are just a few of the things we\nwill go over on PALS Day. Sixth grade teachers\, administration\, counselors and\nsome awesome 8th grade volunteers are eager to make introductions and help ease\nthe transition to middle school. Students and parents will meet in the auditorium to\nstart. Each team will go over a typical 6th grade day and answer questions. Students\nwill then leave with their TA teachers for an introduction to their classroom and to\npractice their locker combination. Teachers and 8th grade volunteers will be there to\nhelp with locker combinations\, find classrooms on student schedules and answer\nWMS questions. Students can even drop off any purchased school supply items in\ntheir locker on this day.\n Parents and students will then reunite in the cafeteria for snacks. This is a great\nopportunity to mingle with Williamsburg staff. The PE department will be selling\nuniforms online this year\, information can be found on page 6 of the newsletter.\nDon’t worry if you cannot attend PALS Day. August 30th is just around the corner\nand 6th grade teachers do a terrific job of acclimating students to Williamsburg\nMiddle School
