WMS PTA

Due to the rise in COVID cases in our area, the WMS Science Fair will be moving from in-person to virtual this year. We still, however, need judges. Please consider taking this unique opportunity to support our students from the comfort of your home. The judging of the projects will take place asynchronously from Friday, January 21st through Sunday, January 23rd.

To sign up, please complete this form: https://forms.gle/6gq5Ya9PjcUMeQpU8. The school’s science fair directors will contact you regarding your registration. If you have any questions, please reach out to the directors – Latanja Thomas or Christy Zarro.

NOTE:
Students who wish to judge must be in the 10th grade or higher. Because the fair is virtual and asynchronous, there is no longer a requirement to register as a volunteer.

With the high school options application deadline coming up (January 21st), the Arlington Tech Advisory Committee (the PTA equivalent) is hosting a virtual Q&A session (via Zoom) with Arlington Tech students and parents on Thursday, January 13th. This is an opportunity to get to know the program better and ask any questions directly to Arlington Tech families. Interested families should email chair@arlingtontech.org for the Zoom link.
