Do you have an incoming 6th grader? Then you want to be a part of PALS Orientation Day. PALS Day, or Pizza, Agenda, Lockers, Schedules is where incoming 6th grade students can meet their homeroom teacher, get their locker assignment, and walk their fall schedule. It’s also an opportunity for parents to come and listen to a presentation that will spell out things like use of technology, after school activity options and what role the PTA has in the community.
Letters will be mailed this week that will tell you who your student’s homeroom (or TA) teacher will be for the school year. Each team has a different time slot:
Grizzlies 8:00 – 9:30am
Panthers 9:45 -11:00am
Coyotes 11:30am – 1:00pm
There will be pizza served in the cafeteria as teams finish their sessions. Parents can also purchase PE uniforms in the gym during this time.
Do not worry if you will be out of town for this event. Your new 6th grader will be assisted on their first day of school.
